Slowly but surely, the Black History Month (BHM) collection is becoming one of the most anticipated releases of the year. With February right around the corner, we have began getting first looks of some of the models that will take part in the collection. Today we get a first look at the Nike KD 8 BHM.
Opting to go with a subtle base, the black upper is offset by the tribal-ish hits placed on the Nike Swoosh, tongue and laces. The shoe comes with a white midsole that is covered in speckles coming in the same colors as the tribal hits on the shoe. Nike’s “BHM” logo can be seen on the heel, while the “Power of One” slogan is found on the insoles. Expected to arrive in February, how many of you are looking forward to this release.
I actually like the black upper paired up with the colorful accents. A lot of people prefer the colorful upper with the black hits, but I feel like this offering will be easier to wear throughout the entire year. That tongue is pretty clean.
